Take Charge: Violence Prevention Education, Conflict Resolution, and Law
Are your girls interested in their rights, the law and violence prevention. “Take Charge! Violence Prevention, Education, Conflict Resolution and Law” is the perfect program for them. The girls will earn the charm for the Take Charge Focus book during a weekend full of new experiences and fun while meeting new people. The event will take place the weekend of February 29- March 2 at Camp Butterworth (Friendship Lodge). Throughout the weekend the girls will be challenged to work with each other, debate topics and reflect on their experiences. The girls will work with law professionals from the Cincinnati area, throughout the weekend. The final piece of the weekend program will be a mock trial. This hands-on activity will allow the girls to experience a trial from start to finish, with the help of lawyer-facilitators guiding them through the judicial process.
